Big Kitchen

Hiya, I'm Paul

Now, I don't really know how to cook but I do know how to have fun and as long as you're having fun that's all that matters... and that you don't make too much mess... and that you tidy up really well afterwards :o)
Hey if you have a favourite recipe that you like to make with your folks email us and let us know.

I hope you enjoy these recipes. Keep coming back because we'll keep adding new ones.

Big Kitchen Recipe

BANANA ICEBERGS

What you need:
Bananas
Wooden ice-block sticks
Melting chocolate (white or dark)
Dipping Decorations: coconut, chocolate sprinkles, hundreds and thousands, whatever you like!

What you do:
Cut the peeled bananas into either quarters or fifths and gently push an ice-block stick into each piece. Make sure you don’t poke it all the way through! Pop them on a foil-lined tray and chuck them in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Now you might want an adult to help with this bit: Melt the chocolate by following the instructions on the packet (using the microwave is the safest and easiest way). Once your chocolate’s melted, dip your bananas into it or use a knife to help spread the chocolate all over the bananas.

Quickly before the chocolate hardens, dip it into your choice of decoration and then put them back into the freezer. Once they’re frozen, dig in!

Make sure you don’t eat them all in one go though!
